Features

Every feature, try it right here

Pick a card and the phone plays it, with the app's own screens and words. Then age a coinling, switch voices on a nudge card and dress up the trio.

Tap + in the middle of the bottom bar and type it like a text: who, how much, what for. Meow Debt sorts it into fields — tap any field that's off to fix it. A due date is optional. No due date, never overdue.

Coinlings grow up day by day from when you add them. No numbers to read — a glance tells you which one to call home first. Coinlings are never sad or cross. Mossy just means they dozed off.

Tap Call it home: the trio writes a cute card with the amount and your get-paid QR. Preview it, tweak the words if you like, then send it yourself. Meow Debt never sends anything on its own — you always press send.

You paid: each friend becomes a coinling out playing. A friend paid: your share becomes a coinling staying with you. Leftover cents go to whoever paid the bill.

When a debt is paid off, the red pen crosses it out, the coinling runs home, and Chill gulps it up and drops it in the jar. The Jar tab keeps every coinling that came home — shake your phone to hear them jingle. Want to let it go? Gift the coinling — the book records a present, not a debt.

Open the Shop from the Jar tab: five groups — Hats · Glasses · Scarves & bows · Tops · Shoes. Buy an item once and all three can wear it; holidays bring seasonal goodies. Each group has 5 Pro items — free to wear with Pro.

Coinlings

Every debt is a little coinling

Each one has a face, an age, and always wants to come home.

They owe meYou lent it — your yellow coinling is out playing at a friend's. They owe you.

I oweYou borrowed it — their pink coinling came to stay, suitcase and all. You owe them.

Coin age

One look tells you how long it's been out

14 days · homesick

0–7 days8–30 daysday 31 on

Past the due date, it gets a red pen circle — a heads-up, not a scolding. Coinlings are never sad or cross. Mossy just means they dozed off.

Call it home

Awkward to ask? We'll say it for you

Tap Call it home: the trio writes a cute card with the amount and your get-paid QR. Preview it, tweak the words if you like, then send it yourself.

Voice

  • Three voices: Sweet is free · Tease and Blunt come with Pro.
  • Your get-paid QR or payment link goes on the card, with the amount filled in.
  • Meow Debt never sends anything on its own — you always press send.

Hi Jordan,

Your friend's little coin has been on a 41-day sleepover. It misses home — mind sending it back?

Split a bill

Three ways to split, all fair

Open Add a coinling, tap “Splitting a bill?” and go through three steps: Bill: name, total, who paid. Who ate: pick everyone at the table. How to split: see what each person owes.

Equally

The total, split evenly.

Make 3 coinlings · $54.75 comes home to Sam

By item

Tap who ate each dish — skipped the beef, skip paying for it.

Make 3 coinlings · $51.25 comes home to Sam

By share

Bigger appetite? Give them ×2 or ×3 shares.

Make 3 coinlings · $58.40 comes home to Sam

  • Someone paid at the table? Mark them “Paid on the spot” — no coinling for them.
  • Leftover cents go to whoever paid the bill.

Friends

Who owes whom, at a glance

The Friends tab groups coinlings by person: a yellow dot means they owe you, pink means you owe them.

Sort by “Needs a call” to see who to nudge first.

Owe each other? “Settle up” in one tap.

Tap a friend for their history, payback pace (only you see it), renaming or merging duplicates.

Each payment carves out a slice. Paid in full? The red pen crosses it off and the coinling heads for the jar.

Keep the book, feed the trio. Tiny amounts don't earn snacks when they come home or get gifted, and there's a daily cap — snacks are treats, not a grind. Want more? Snack packs are in the Shop.

Widgets: A glance at your Home Screen shows who's homesick.
